1993 Mazda MX-6 LS V6 5-Speed Manual
Clean title, clean CarFax, 161,577 miles. I am the 3rd owner.
Pennsylvania car since new. Second owner owned from 1995 to 2015.
Strong running, shifts well, clutch in good condition, no slipping, many
parts replaced since I took ownership in 10/2015. Have many receipts
and extra parts included in sale of car, including factory parts.  I was
limited to only 24 total photos but I wrote down a list of replaced parts
and added it to the photo section. I really like the car but feel the time is
right to downsize and let her go to someone who felt the thrill when I first
bought her. I PlastiDipped her in the Summer of 2020 with Sterling Silver
with Pearls (10 coats) and 3 coats of Gloss Top Coat with the Dip Sprayer,
not rattle-canned. It's not perfect but it looks better than the sun faded factory
Vintage Red. Extra Sterling SilverDip will be included in sale for touch ups.
I recently fixed a valve cover leak and cleaned the MAF sensor while it
was apart with MAF cleaner. Upon starting CEL activated, although does
not effect running. The Air Bag Light is activated as well as the ABS light
( I believe a wheel speed sensor? ) The A/C does not work, nor the Power
Antennae. A key broke off in the trunk keyhole but it opens from the inside
near drivers seat. Installed a Pioneer head unit CD plus aux and USB port, very
nice unit. Forgot to mention, new brake pads  in 2016. I've put approx
20,000 miles on since 2015. The car has had full synthetic oil in it since
2015, unsure what previous owners ran. The good news is that it doesn't
burn oil or leak oil. Stored winters, a rust free survivor.
A great 3 season car up north or a year round southern car. It still turns heads
with its beautiful shape and unmistakable silhouette.
Nothing looks like a 2nd Gen MX-6. It is a symphony hearing the VRIS valves
open at full honk. It is without a doubt one of the most aesthetic, eye pleasing
Japanese sport coupes ever made, in my opinion. These are getting to be quite
rare. Since 2015, I have only seen 2 Ford Probes (MX-6 sister car) in the Pittsburgh
area driving around. I have seen no MX-6's on the roads since 2015 and believe me,
I've been looking!!! I know they're out there.....somewhere....
Still though, most people rubbernecking don't know what the hell it is, let alone
have even heard of an MX-6. So they have the look, the sound, the exclusivity....
well within the reach of practically anyone on a budget, which makes it accessible.
The Moon roof does operate but needs a little help when closing.
There are a few very small dents in driver side between door opening and wheel well.
While it is in fairly good shape, it is far from perfect and priced accordingly.
Mileage may change slightly as I drive it once per week minimum when not stored.
This car is PA inspected through 10/2021
It is being sold "As Is" and I do not accept returns. If you live within the Pittsburgh
area or 35 mi radius, I could meet any prospective buyers to show the car. I have
the right to end this auction early due to sale of car.
